‘Don’t write the same book over and over again, write [one] and put a wig on it, ram it through the muon-scope.’
– Herbert Read [The Green Child]
These are 6 of my books spanning 15 years or so, all bunched into one pic. They’re all a bit different in form/style/voice/genre, but still wigged and Id deep in the muon-scope.
Here’s a quick guide so, if you’re interested, you can pick the right one for you [all 6 are either free to read as a PDF on the My Books page or [if you wanna help me out financially] available to buy as PDFs on itch.io [coming soon] – KRV and Planet Rasputin are also buyable as paperbacks].
Void Galaxia – Like an isekai serial filtered through Baudrillard. Very long [215k words], but maybe worth it for the direction the plot goes and the characters who trail it there.
Perma Neon O – experimental madness with black scrawls. Only 100 pages long, ambiguous, playful, definitely captured something.
Planet Rasputin – Anarchist + absurdist sci-fi, not utopian but not completely miserable either. If you like Blake’s 7, and the everyday-on-the-promenade scenes in [Star Trek] DS9, you might like this too.
Purple Muon Castle – an attempt at the Gothic via surrealism and Satanism, it’s no Vernon Lee or Lord of Astiigos, but I think it’s not too bad. If you like ruins turned into out of phase castles deep in the Carpathians, this could be the one for you.
KRV – Gary J. Shipley called it a ‘speculative breakdown,’ so I’ll go with that. The first 20 pages might be tough for some as it’s nonsense poetry, and the following 200 pages might also be tough cos it’s me breaking down [speculatively]. I think it runs quite smoothly. Bit of absurdism thrown in too, and a lot of left wing theory [filtered through an erratic mind].
Fritz Lang’s Destiny – Along with Void Galaxia, this has to be my favourite cover. It’s been a year or two since I read the story, but I do remember it’s about alt-versions of me and my wife stumbling around Europe, bumping into made-up myths, looking for a professor of dark light in old cabinets. Lots of run-on sentences, some of them over a hundred lines [wild guess from broken memory].
I’ve written other books too – Castle Damijana, Sonic Death Bot, Charcoal – which are also here on psycho h, as is another ongoing isekai serial [Dah Station 7] which is my way of decompressing from all THIS.
Further decompression comes under my pseudonym Cyan of Mogh, and I’m gonna put a link to those books too [here on the My Books page], though they are not as absurd or experimental as my work here or the novels above. Hence the pseudonym. They’re still okay though. Sengoku Demons got 46 followers on one of those shitty serial fiction sites, 43 of which were not my wife or my mother. I’m still working on a final edit and cover, but it’ll be up for sale soon, hopefully around June 2025.
I think that’s everything.
