Just realised [while changing the WordPress theme] that Psycho Holosuite has been around for ten years now.

TEN YEARS!

TEN YEARS, MAN!!!!

I feel seduced, robbed, overpowered, deflated, gleeful, fraudulent, upbeat, sanguine, Romulan etc.

TEN YEARS!!!!

Seems bizarro now, but the first piece I ever put up on Psycho H was a dark Mario fan-fic called Bowser State about an everyday goomba guard sent out to deal with an Italian head-stomper.

It was pretty bad.

Second piece was an attempted mimicry/satire of Žižek talking about race and class in Star Trek and spitting everywhere.

Also not great, but I still have a soft spot for it.

Third piece was-

In a nod to my previous life, I put out a zine at one point, 500 copies, issue 1 of 1 it turned out.

Then for about five years I barely posted anything – too depressed, too dis- or un- interested, and, when I did post, it was usually fixed on my struggles with Cantonese, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian, Urdu, Slovene, Swahili, Yaqui, Klingon, mime etc.

This shift in Writing-Tartarus ended when I got KRV accepted at Schism Neuronics [great press run by Gary J Shipley that lets you read the PDFs for free] and decided to launch myself back into the fringe writing community that I was never really a part of to begin with. By launching I mean me writing more frequently on Psycho H, asking other fringe writers to come up with something for film dada[da], doing de-con-strucs of experimental work, writing Trash F-Log stuff like Mysticalists in Bali, Alienator, House II etc.

Looking at it now, I think Psycho H is definitely in the top 1k of WordPress sites, and, unless I fall off a cliff or get my head yanked off by a cage elevator, another 10 years should be doable.

[Loose] Targets:

1] reach 100 de-con-strucs [I’m on 33 right now]

2] 100 Trash F-Log pieces [with a few guest writers now and then]

3] Corner and headlock a publisher for my anarchist-sci-fi-madness Xxun.

4] Make the ‘about’ page more inscrutable.

And that’s about it.
