Galaxy of Tenebre I + II @ Var(2x)

+

I’ve got some surreal madness up on Var(2x), a site I’ve just come across that I wish I’d come across years ago cos it’s got some beautifully insane stuff there.

My one [Galaxy of Tenebre I + II] is in honour of the late Roger Corman, the not so late PKD and the idea of lost/incompossible futures, with the first image representing the I of the title and the subsequent 5 the II, which I’ve decided after the fact is my nod to Gary J. Shipley’s Terminal Park + its abundant splitting conceit i.e. there’s no longer just a sequel anymore, there’s a suffocating spawning of everything-whatever.

I’m also putting up images from some of the other work on Var(2x) cos it deserves to be seen by more people. Or seen by the same people who made it and have maybe forgotten how good/striking it is. In this case, Andrew C. Wenaus, Irene Koronas, László Aranyi, Kenji Siratori, Adeena Karasick and Rosaire Appel.

Really, I could spend days there going through it all, and if I can do that then so can you.

Oh yeah, there’s also the cover of Volume II from Daniel Y. Harris’ Posthuman Series of experimental poems, which I’ll have to do a de-con-struc of at some point in the not so distant [lost] future cos it looks deranged.

Basically, get over there and try to make and/or unmake sense of things. And check out the preview of weirdly uneven-sized images below.
