They say that dreams are nightmares perverted, that the cinema scene from MESSIAH OF EVIL needed a redox with an old Estonian/Russian cartoon playing on the projector screen instead + me heavy-breathing SHARRRR as ambient back-veil.

Last video I did was around 37 minutes long, way too much effort + stress, so I’m deviating into shorter, maybe weirder stuff, semi-inspired by my old zines/work and the beautiful SWEEP’S DREAM by Rebecca Gransden [it’s on her channel, go watch, it’s ho mo liu geh in a good way].

This one is almost 8 minutes and does “something/nothing” with a pretty well-known scene from the 1973 surreal horror flick MESSIAH OF EVIL. If you haven’t seen it, go find it, the vibe is good, the cinematography is good, the voiceover, not so good but you get used to it.

I’m calling this MESSIAH OF EMPEDOCLES [SURVIVING ON MOON DEW] after searching ‘philosophers beginning with E’.
