Something hybrid and drifting, nihilist and utopian in patches, with my monotone voice as intro to the forest-realm, trailed by Danika Stegeman, Karina Bush, Sara Matson, Chik Chun Ying Joanna, Ami J. Sanghvi, A.A. De Levine and Madelaine Culver as main body text/horror.
This is the second ‘Kollontai’ piece I’ve produced recently, and probably the best video I’ve done so far in my non-career as re-mixer of old film clips. Meaning and metaphysics potentially all over the place. Strict- symbolic and phenomenological. Who IS that walking TV in the cartoon forest?? Does IT matter?
Huge thanks to the above artists/writers for providing voice recordings that have basically made this the best video I’ve done so far.
And posthumous thanks to Kathy Acker and Jane Arden for their voices too.
You should definitely watch this, at least the first 15 minutes, cos it is frankly the
BEST
